Wright R-1820 First Start Up In 3 Years!!
This engine was taken off a Grumman S2F Tracker. My instructor ran it last on the plane 3 years ago. He decided to get it out of the weather by mounting it to the back of a Volvo truck. (The truck has an M11 Cummins btw) Most of us in the aviation maintenance program spent the day finishing up the run stand. I put the spark plug leads back on right before we drove the truck out.
