It’s payday again here in Japan 💰 Now that I’m 30, I’ve learned to value the simple things, a good meal, a full pantry, and time spent with someone I love. ❤️ In this vlog, I’m sharing how I spent my salary day: budgeting, sending money to Philippines, grocery shopping at a super affordable Vietnamese store, and ending the day with a cozy ramen date. 🍜 For those curious our regular work rate is ¥1,065 per hour (about ₱405 or $7.10), and for overtime we earn ¥1,332 per hour (about ₱507 or $8.88). After all the deductions: house, bills, taxes, and insurance. What’s left is what we budget carefully every month. Still, I’m thankful I can save a little and treat myself once in a while. 💛 Because at the end of the day, happiness isn’t about how much you earn.
