DETAILED | How to Trim Your Own Natural Hair | DIY Deva Cut and Trim

Hi Curl Friends! So I tried somethings new, I gave myself a curly cut at home! Growing out this taper cut has been a real challenge for me. The most challenging part are the unsides and back. My top way longer than my sides. Since salons are closed due to COVID-19, I decided to risk it all and cut my own hair. Now I'm saying cut, but this is more like a trim and shape up. For full transparency, I used a pair of home scissors, not cutting shears. I DO NOT recommend this. If you need shears, please shop my Amazon store front. I found a great pair of shears. I know this cut seems small, but it made a huge difference in my overall shape and most importantly, my curls are out of my face. I'm definitely going to cut more, this is just the beginning.
