Chlamydien einfach erklärt - Mit Dr. Katharina Meier im Charité-Hörsaal
Chlamydia is a bacterium that can cause a common sexually transmitted infection (STI). Chlamydia is typically transmitted through unprotected sexual contact with an infected person. Chlamydia infections can occur in men and women and often do not cause obvious symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they often manifest as painful urination, unusual discharge, or abdominal pain. Dr. Katharina Meier, senior physician at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology, and Allergology (CCM), explains more about diagnostics and treatment options in the video.
