Claudia Rankine discusses "Citizen: An American Lyric" at the 2015 Library of Congress National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. Speaker Biography: Poet Claudia Rankine was born in Kingston, Jamaica. She is the author of several collections of poetry, including "Don't Let Me Be Lonely: An American Lyric," "Nothing in Nature Is Private" and her latest, "Citizen: An American Lyric." Rankine has received several fellowships as well as the National Book Critics Circle Award in Poetry and the Cleveland State Poetry Prize.
