IDOLATRY IN THE CHURCH The Lord is not happy with the state of the church. He says the body of Christ is filled with idolatry. An idol is anything that competes with God for space or attention in the heart of a believer The idolatry in the church today is not the idolatry of monuments and statutes, this idolatry is rooted in the hearts of God's people. These idols that have taken the seat on the throne of our hearts are not always bad things. It can be your Ministry, Title, Man of God, Money, House, Children, Ambition, Job, Business etc. Scripture says "Seek ye FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL these things will be added to you. The Lord is calling us back to our first love. Join me in the prayer now as we repent, cast down those idols from our hearts and enthrone Jesus again on the throne of our hearts.
