In the second chapter, we saw the problem that Jonah only prayed while inside the whale, so his prayer was very late. But God is never late, and in this chapter, we see Him deliver and save. After Jonah fled and hid in the hold of the ship, he thought he had escaped God and his conscience. The story continues, and he is cast into the sea, but God intervened to save him. He provided a great fish to carry him to where the Lord desired. The fish took him where God willed, not where Jonah intended. We find Jonah and hear him in the belly of the fish declaring that God was with him there and listening to him. I pray that these words will be a blessing to your life and ministry.
