CRACKS | Film School Application (ACCEPTED)
After missing the bus, a girl blames her misfortune on sidewalk cracks, however she is eventually forced to choose between the possible future or her present life. Written, directed, shot, edited and music by Tristan Kazor Starring: Carmela Saguar Maya Wong LMU - ACCEPTED This project is based on my experience with OCD and how I tried to control my life by believing that meaningless tasks had the power to prevent the bad. In the end of the short film, the girl takes a leap of faith and chooses not to let her obsession affect her life. Breaking my habits and facing their power is something that took me a very long time to accomplish, but it was one of the most important leaps I have ever taken. I wanted to tell a story that shows the power of OCD and how someone can live with it. There aren’t many of these stories out there so I was inspired to start putting what I’ve always wanted to see onto the screen. #shortfilm #college #collegeapplications #film #filmschool #studentfilm #ocd
