The main idea of ​​the sermon: true faith is daily trust in God, which is based on His Word, confirmed by works, withstands trials and leads a person to salvation and faithfulness to Christ until the end of life. 📌 Main ideas of the sermon: 1) Faith as the basis of salvation (Ephesians 2:8): The preacher emphasizes that salvation comes "by grace through faith," and it is a gift from God. He explains that grace opens the way, and faith makes it effective. 2) The difference between faith, hope, and love: Faith is confidence in the unseen (Hebrews 11:1), an axiom that does not require evidence. It is calm. Hope is a joyful expectation of the future, often anxious because it lacks complete certainty. They are different, but inextricably linked. 3) Faith without works is dead (James 2:14-17): The preacher sharply criticizes “dead faith”—faith that exists only in words or on Sundays, but does not affect everyday life. He gives the example that even demons believe in God, but this does not save them. True faith is always manifested in deeds (carrying the cross, serving, helping others). 4) Testing faith: The central idea is that God’s purpose is not to free us from problems, but to lead us through them. Faith is tested in sorrows, illnesses, and life’s difficulties. If faith depends only on good circumstances, it is not genuine. 5) Personal example and warning: The preacher gives a positive example of a woman with cancer who refused doctors because she had a word from God, and was healed. This is shown as an example of strong faith. A negative example is given of a man who fell away from faith, went into sin and tragically died without having time to repent. This is a warning about the danger of betrayal of God. 6) Practical conclusions: Faith must be formed daily through spending time in the Word of God, prayer and communication with believers. If a person does not have time for God, he loses faith.
