Shooting Texas Star Target Home Built From Wood...Mostly _ Donnie D
This is my homebuilt Texas Star target I just finished building a few days ago. I am a woodworker, and I built this target mostly from wood. The main structure of it is scrap wood from my shop. The gongs are of course mild steel (I only shoot it with .22 rimfire), and the wood structure is shielded with angle iron. The base is concrete so as to give enough weight to stand up. It is fairly heavy, but I'm 70 years old and I have no trouble moving it around. A lot of fun to shoot, and should be a great skill builder. Thanks for lookin
