We have completely dismantled and restored the "Seiganji Temple Front Screen," a little-known masterpiece painted by Iwasa Matabei. The entire restoration process, which began in 2018 and continued for three years, was filmed and documented in a video. Iwasa Matabei's "Seiganji Temple Front Screen" Currently on display at the Museum of Kyoto's special exhibition, "The Blooming Culture of the Townspeople: Early Modern Kyoto."
