Through flashbacks, we relive the defining moments of his journey. Threatened from birth by eagles and foxes, the young ibex must quickly learn the art of survival. As he grows, new dangers arise: violent storms, deadly avalanches, and ruthless clashes with rival males fought on the very edge of the abyss. To dominate the herd, he must risk everything. Evolution has gifted ibex with astonishing climbing abilities, allowing them to scale vertical cliffs no other mammal would dare attempt. Sharing this high-altitude sanctuary with chamois, wolves, marmots, and Alpine hares, the ibex is part of a fragile ecological balance where no species survives alone.
