Oyster 595 - On Test

It’s not often that you get to spend three days evaluating a new boat……especially when her owner is waiting to take delivery and head over the horizon. But a full three days is what Matt Sheahan and the PlanetSail team had to get to grips with the eagerly awaited, brand new Oyster 595. The 120mile passage was also the the first true test for the 595 and given the undisputed popularity of her smaller sister the 565, along with the expectations around this bigger, long-legged blue water crusier cruiser, there was plenty riding on this trip. Three days aboard also gave us the opportunity to take some deep dives into the detail and produce some extra videos of the detail on deck, through the accommodation and under the cabin sole.
