First OTS Since last year -Still Learning Elfnotes… But Is This Actually the Best Synchron Variant?

After months of grinding Master Duel and not stepping into an in‑person tournament since last year, I finally returned to my local OTS — and I brought Elfnotes Synchron with me for the very first time. I’ve been testing this variant all week, but I’m still getting used to the deck, especially the Elfnotes portion. There will be misplays. There will be overcooking. There will be moments where I’m clearly still learning the lines. But no matter what happens… we will Synchro Summon. This event was the perfect stress test. I recorded every round, commentated the gameplay, talked through my decisions, highlighted the strengths and weaknesses that showed up under pressure, and made adjustments as I went. This wasn’t just about results — it was about seeing whether this build can hold up in a real competitive environment as I prep for my upcoming OTS Championship.
