70mai A810 Lite is Different...
I just unboxed the new A810 Lite 4K set, and the first thing I noticed is how much they’ve changed the design compared to the other A810 models. It’s a solid-looking unit with a distinctive lens. They’ve also added some clever cut-outs in the plastic casing to help it stay cool while it’s running and possibly to reduce costs. What’s in the Box? Everything you need to get it running is in there: The 4K front camera and an RC21 (1080P) rear camera. A cable length about 5.5 meters to reach the back of the car. Static stickers so you don't have to glue the mount directly to your glass. A trim tool to help hide the wires behind your car’s trim. Setting It Up Getting through the menus was pretty straightforward. I set the time and the GPS for my location in Australia, and I noticed a few cool new features: Scheduled HDR: You can now tell the camera exactly what times of day to use HDR (High Dynamic Range), which is great because it usually works better at night than during the day. Wi-Fi: It has a built-in hotspot so you can connect your phone and grab videos. Screen Saver: You can set the screen to show your current speed or a clock while you're driving so it’s not distracting. How it Works The camera starts recording as soon as it gets power. I tested the "Emergency Recording" by bumping the camera, and it triggered perfectly—exactly what you want if you’re ever in an accident. You can see both the front and back views at the same time on the screen, or switch to just one. It’s also very easy to go back and watch your saved videos directly on the device.
