The Raven and the Queen

I found you in the winter, Beneath a blood-red sky, A shadow made of moonlight, With emerald eyes older than time. The forests whispered secrets, The rivers knew your name, You landed on my shoulder, And nothing stayed the same. Where did you come from? What world did you leave? A spirit dressed in feathers, A mystery I could never read. My raven, my guardian, Keeper of the unseen way, Through every moonlit winter, Your soul walked next to mine. Black wings across the moonlight, A shadow carved in flame, You carry all my secrets, And call me by my true name. When kingdoms fell to darkness, And hope began to fade, You circled through the night sky, A promise that remained. Some say you're born from starlight, Some say from ancient trees, But when I hear your heartbeat, It's like you're part of me. Not a servant... Not a guide... Not a creature by my side... You are the voice inside the wind, The echo in the snow, The piece of me that never left, The part I'll always know. My raven, my guardian, The fire beneath my crown, When the world forgets my story, You're the one who writes it down. If I should walk through shadows, If I should lose my way, Your wings would light the darkness, And lead me home again. Black feathers in the moonlight, Golden eyes that see, Not my pet... Not my companion... My raven... Is part of me.
