De mooiste route van de Mullerthal Trail in Luxemburg: route 2

Mullerthal Trail route 2 (40 km) in Luxembourg ❤️ The Mullerthal Trail has been recommended to me so many times, and now the time had come! Together with @Madelief.explores and @JuttainhetWild, I went to Luxembourg for a long weekend to hike route 2 of this trail. The Mullerthal Trail consists of 3 loops, each of which can be completed in 2 days (route 1, route 2, and route 3). According to many people, route 2 is the most beautiful, so that is what we went for! And what a fantastic hike this is 😍 Caves, bridges, rocks, boardwalks, streams, and even a waterfall. You encounter it all. Do keep in mind, however, that this is a hilly area and that being in good shape will come in handy. 📍 You can start Mullerthal Trail route 2 in Berdorf; on day 1, you stop in Scheidgen, where you start again on day 2. Or start in Echternach and stop in Altrier. 🚌 You travel by bus to and from your starting and ending points and your accommodation. Public transport is free in Luxembourg! Ⓜ️ The route is marked with the letter M and signposts 🚶🏻 Total route length: ~40 km (we walked 17 km on day 1 and 24 km on day 2) 🎒 Bring: plenty of food and drink (at least 2 liters of water per day) and a flashlight for the caves 🥾 The entire Mullerthal Trail is 112 km and can be hiked in 6 days ❤️ Our trip was organized by Avontuur dichtbij; you can easily book your complete hiking trip to the Mullerthal Trail (or another hiking hotspot) here.
