Avvio provvisorio con due ferri circolari (English subtitles).
Years ago, while on vacation without crochet hooks and needing to temporarily cast on some stitches, I had to do some research to find a solution. Provisional casting on with two circular needles is very convenient because, through a simple and intuitive process, you can cast on stitches for a project while still having the same number of stitches on hold. The advantage, however, is that the held stitches are already on a circular needle cable and can be used immediately without having to undo anything or pick up live stitches. Although in the video I show casting on stitches flat, the same method can be used to cast on stitches in a circular needle. The only real precaution, in the latter case, is to be very careful not to twist the stitches. To do this, when working in a circular needle, I highly recommend using two different-colored cables so that it's very easy and immediate to tell which needle you're using for knitting and which one is for the held stitches. I hope you like it, and if you have any questions, please leave me a comment! :) *** Years ago, being on vacation without crochet hooks and wanting to cast on provisional stitches, I had to study a little bit to come up with a solution!
