Watch this opening here. A large panda statue welcomes you at the Pandabashi Exit of Ueno Station, a panda spot known only to those in the know. It's waiting for you as you exit the Iriya ticket gate on the 3rd floor! ■Gran Class https://www.jreast.co.jp/granclass/ One of the highlights of this trip is the Gran Class, also known as the "first class of the Shinkansen." This sophisticated, private space offers a more comfortable train journey. ■Morioka Station https://www.jreast.co.jp/estation/sta... Morioka Station, where you can watch the Shinkansen trains being coupled and uncoupled, is currently undergoing renovations! A new shop will open in the station building in June 2025, so there's plenty to see! The Ming-style font is beautiful! ■Mitsuishi Shrine https://iwatetabi.jp/spots/4734/ This shrine is the setting for the legend of the demon's handprint. Take a close look at the large stone enshrined within the shrine grounds! You might even find the demon's handprint, which gave Iwate its name! ■Yakiniku Restaurant Yonai   / 29noyonai   This yakiniku restaurant is run directly by a butcher shop founded in 1899. When you think of Morioka, you think of hiyashi (cold noodles), but you also want to eat meat! This restaurant will satisfy your hunger. ■Clambon   / kuranbon0323   If the name rings a bell, you're right! The name is apparently inspired by the "Clambon" character in Kenji Miyazawa's children's story "Yamanashi." This long-established coffee shop specializes in home-roasted dark roasted beans. The delicious coffee brewed by the owner will make you feel at ease before heading off to your next destination.
