Red Richardson goes on a rampage in my video game | Mat's Made A Game 11
*strobe warning* sorry! thought it would be fun to have the police officers in the game have little flashing police lights on their shoulders. There's quite a few scenes of flashing lights throughout though I've tried to cut away where I can. I've made my own games engine where I invite my comedian friends to be the main character in a bespoke game that they have to then try and beat. This episode sees the brilliant Red Richardson (whose stand up special Buggati is super funny) try and tackle the third and final level of Mars Command, my sci fi inspired epic. Produced by Chris Quaile Cameras / Sound: Noelle Sacher Games Consultant: Kate Palmer Theme Tune: Nicky Green (Other music licenced from uppbeat.io) Big thanks to various open source projects that I used to make this: AngelScript, Assimp, Blender, Bullet Physics, Dear ImGui, Gimp, Google MediaPipe, Inkscape, Recast Navigation, SDL, SoLoud Audio Also credits to NASA/JPL-Caltech for the publicly available 3d models of Phobos and Deimos that appear very briefly in space at the end.
