Sewing the Padded Jacket from the 112 Japanese Field Clothing pattern
Follow along as I sew a sample for Folkwear of the Padded Jacket from the 112 Japanese Field Clothing pattern. This beautiful jacket is made from a handwoven Guatemalan fabric and is partly hand sewn, and made using traditional Japanese construction. This video can help you sew your own Padded Jacket from the pattern. Even though this jacket may look complicated, it is really quite simple and comes together fairly quickly even with the hand sewing techniques.
