There are three positions: proclisis, enclisis, and mesoclysis. Proclisis occurs when the unstressed object pronoun is placed before the verb. In enclisis, the unstressed object pronoun is positioned after the verb; in mesoclysis, the pronoun is placed in the middle of the verb.
