Creating a cross stitch pattern | Cross stitch design speedpaint

🌿 Hi, guys! This time I decided to show you how I usually draw a cross stitch pattern. The software I use is Cross Stitch Professional Platinum. 🌿 It all starts with an illustration and a dialog with an artist. Then I decide what the size of the future needlework would be. I like to draw the back stitches first and then proceed to the x stitches. In this design I also used 3/4 and 1/4 cross stitches, thin x stitches and a french knot. When I'm happy with how the design looks, I I pick the symbols and make a key for the pattern. I also count the length of the threads a seamstress would need. 🌿 This pattern is available here: https://boosty.to/alenatolubaeva/post... ✔It is an instant download PDF file. ✔Design size is 83 х 79 stitches or 5,9 х 5,5 inches (15 х 14 cm) - counted for 28 ct evenweave.
