[FIFA World Cup Train] SMRT ALS R151 Set 829/830 [Batch 1] From Yishun to Jurong East MRT Station

Date Filmed: 24 June 2026 As 3 Years Of R151 Has Pass, I Have Decided To Take One Of The Brand New R151 Trains Which Was Now Being Served Very Common On The North South, East West and Changi Airport Branch Line. The R151 Trains Were One Of The Most Common Fleet In The Rolling Stock, Which Is Recorded As One Of The Largest MRT Number Of Train Fleet Model In Singapore. The Reason For LTA Wants To Scrap The C151, C651 and The C751B Trains Which Have Been Operating On The North South, East West & Changi Airport Branch Line For Years and Years Already. Previously 3 Years Ago Back In 2023, The Very First R151 Trainset Which Was Set 825/826 Was In Passenger Service Which R151 Set 823/824 Has First Does It's Daytime Testing But Then At That Time, There Was Some Issues For The 823/824 Set Which Cause That Set To Rest At The Depot. During That Time Of The Debut, I Did Not Take It Because That Time I Was Outside Singapore For Holiday Trip For 2 Weeks. So Then, Welcome Back To Another Video! Since On That Wednesday That I Have Available Time For Me, I Wanted To Actually Attempt To Ride The R151 Train That Has The World Cup Theme Train Which Is Also Known As The FIFA One. The Theme Train Has Begin To Have The Things Being Decorated Or Installed, Which Makes The Train More Special To It. The FIFA World Cup Train Was Begin To Have The Advertisements Since 10 June 2026 When It Was First Held It Back At The Jurong East MRT Station Platform A During The Off-Peak Hours Period Before The Evening Peak Hours Kick In. The Train Set Which Was Involved In The R151 World Cup Theme Train Was Belong To The Set Number: 829/830 Which Was The 4th R151 To Debut Ever Back In 2023 When This Set Debuted On 17 July 2023. In Order For Me To Get This Trainset, This Trainset Was Actually Running On The North South Line Which Was Deployed To Do It As Train Run Number 235. One Of My Transport Enthusiast Friends Have Mentioned Me That This Trainset Was Going To Do Full Day Slot and Even Does It For Late Night Period If I Have Remember and Said The Truth To Myself. I Took It During The Off-Peak Period Close To 3:00 PM, When I Firstly Waited At Khatib MRT Station For This Trainset With The Theme Train. It Arrived At The MRT Station Leading Towards Jurong East Direction At 2:47 PM When I Check The Time On My Handphone and Even On The Passenger Information Display Screen. So I Was Happy That I Decided To Board It To Enjoy The Last Few Moments Of The June School Holidays. I Filmed The Train Ride From Yishun Instead So That I Could Clear Some Of My Storage On My Handphone So That I Would Be Able To Get The Longer Train Ride. I Thought That Riding From Yishun To Jurong East Was Going To Take Me About Near To 40 Minutes But Then This Video Was Just 37 Or Close To 38 Minutes. The Decorations Was Being Pasted On The Seats, But Also on The Floor and On The Train Gangway Passage Which Looks More Cool To It. I Firstly Stay At The Carriage Number 13830 Singapore One and Then When The Train Was At Marsiling MRT Station, I Went To The Blue Carriage To Film The Spain Which Is At The 11830. But When Train Was At Kranji Leading Towards Jurong East Direction, I Went Even Down To The Germany and Down One More To France Which Were Located On Carriage Number 12830 and 12829 Respectively According To The Train Set Configuration. The Train Was Quite Fast Especially That I Could Avoid Filming During The Peak Hours Since Peak Hours Would Be The Problem That It Would Be Crowded and It Could Be Difficult To Film It and Not Easily But Not For Now Since Taking Off-Peak - Is Always Good But Not Sometimes. The Train Ride Is Amazing As I Like The Strong Aircon, LED Lighting Are Very Bright, Working LCD DRMD Screens & CLD Display, Working Announcements, Clean Interior Of Train and Comfortable Seats [With Perch Ones] and Ride For This New CRRC Changchun Train.
