This is the first time I’ve given it its own spotlight, and there’s a lot to talk about. The XPND Pedal Power is a rechargeable 9V power supply for guitar pedals, designed to keep your board running without needing to plug into a wall. D’Addario claims it can run an average-sized pedalboard for 10+ hours, and you still have the option to plug into USB power when needed. One of my favorite parts of the kit is the adjustable 8-pedal daisy chain, which lets you customize plug spacing to match your board layout. It also includes a hook fastener so you can easily mount everything to your pedalboard. For this video, I put the battery through a real-world stress test: multiple pedals, all powered on at once, running until the battery tapped out. The results? Surprisingly solid. Was it the full 10+ hours? No — but realistically, you’re probably not running every pedal continuously during a 5-hour gig anyway. 💬 Bottom line: In practical use, the XPND Pedal Power Battery Kit has more than enough juice to get you through a gig.
