Chinese New Year｜Gong Xi Play-Along

Happy New Year! Gong Xi is one of, if not the most popular song to sing around Chinese New Year. It originally was a song sung to celebrate the end of World War II in China, but then became a song known primarily for Chinese New Year. This video includes a recording featuring my dear friend and fellow music teacher in China, Abby Xu. There are lyrics, a notation play-along, and a visual play-along. Keep in mind that this song is in D harmonic minor, so it uses Bb and C#. If you are playing barred instruments you might have Bb bars, but not C# (they are available, but suuuuuper expensive).
