Top 6 tips for submerged flower photography

For the last 27 months one of my main photography projects has been Submerged flowers, which I frequently create with back stories. The images have been incredibly well received and have done very well in many competitions such as a winning the Black and white category and placing in Beauty of plants, plus Abstract categories in International garden photographer of the year and one image winning the Open category of the UKPP print competition, plus numerous others gaining Gold and highly commended awards across various photography societies. When I discovered this technique I could not find information on how to do it, so I set about experimenting and after sharing images from about 40 shoots I was inundated with requests for a tutorial - something which I had never created before. So I created an online explanation of my approach - a 1 hour long comprehensive tutorial which is available from the link below. But I wanted to help as many people as possible to get started with this, which is why I am now creating short videos sharing tips. I am still coming up with new tips and tricks for this fun type of photography so watch this space for more as I have lots of ideas.
