We'll start with exercise 1. Attach the Theraband to your ankles and lie down on your mat in a neutral stance. Lift your top leg straight up, mid-length, for 20 reps. On the 20th rep, hold in the center position for another 20 seconds. In exercise 2, keep your leg in the same position, but pull your toes toward you (flexed) and point them downward, targeting the outer hip. Repeat for another 20 reps, and hold for another 20 seconds on the final rep. In exercise 3, do the same for the inner thigh. Pull your toes toward you (flexed) and try to lift them outward. After 20 reps, hold for 20 seconds. "Beginners": Try to follow the numbers and rest between exercises. My advice: Don't let the hip of the working leg move back. Make sure it stays straight and upright. "Intermediate": Don't take breaks during the exercises and try doing 3 sets. My advice: Don't let the leg drop down during the resting portions, but keep it level. "This is just me": Do 3 sets of the 3 exercises without a rest, adding a 40-second rest at the end.
