On Cam: Attackers Hurl Grenade at Temple in India's Amritsar, Pakistani Link Suspected | N18L In India, two unidentified individuals hurled a grenade at a Hindu temple in Amritsar's Khandwala area in the state of Punjab before fleeing on a motorcycle. CCTV footage captured the attack, which took place around midnight on March 14-15. Video showed the attackers approaching the temple gate, stopping there briefly and then throwing a grenade before running away from the scene. An explosion rattled the locality just moments after. Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, said, "There are always many attempts to disturb the peace in Punjab." Authorities are investigating the incident and Amritsar's Police Commissioner Gurpreet Bhullar signalled to a Pakistani linked to the attack. He said, “Pakistan engages in such mischievous acts from time to time. “We are actively investigating and making efforts to arrest the accused."
