Kayle Support: Testing New Runes & Items – Is She Viable? This was another no-mic game—I forgot to turn on my mic before recording, so no live reactions this time. Sorry about that! I've been experimenting with different runes and items on Kayle support based on feedback and suggestions. I haven't finished testing yet; I plan to try more runes and new items in future games. Here's what I think so far: Guardian Rune: It provides decent protection for allies but has a long cooldown and only procs when you take damage. It doesn’t boost healing, so I still prefer Summon Aery. I might try Guardian again, but next, I want to test Arcane Comet. Echoes of Helia: It has an interesting passive, but it's hard to auto-attack often, especially against mobile enemies. It’s better suited for less mobile opponents and can be a good item for Kayle who auto-attacks a lot. Malignance: I think this item is underrated for Kayle support. The biggest benefit is reducing her ultimate cooldown from 60 to 40 seconds, which is a big help. I plan to use it more, even if it takes up an item slot and delays other healing items. I should mention that playing Kayle support recently has frustrated my team a lot. Some players dodge or ban her because they don’t understand her role outside the traditional carry lanes. But if your team is okay with it, Kayle support can still perform well. Overall, support is a tough role—sometimes things are out of your control, and you can only do so much to help your team win.
