Starting work on my first bag for the new April prompt for Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery which is to make a bag or bags. #Roxysjournalofstitchery Thread painting (or psinting with thread) a protea flower using crewel pr Appletons wool in three different shades abd brazillian embroidery yarn. This piece is inspired by the wonderful Fleur Woods and her beautiful The Untamed Thread book. Fleur does incredible free style embroidery as well as textural pieces and her book is a wonderful exploration of her creative journey and creative inspiration.
