Even though the series hasn't seen a new installment in a long time, Cities & Skylines upholds the virtues of Sim City. The second installment took it up a notch with its graphics and gameplay. And because the second installment seemed rather dull in the late 90s, as the turn of the millennium approached, they simply remade it into Sim City 2000.
