Numerous engine configurations are available... The AIR ONE comes to Oshkosh as an electric, two-seat personal eVTOL bird designed for everyday flyers. Surprisingly, it is aimed at non-pilots, and features collapsible wings to fit in a standard garage but is controlled by what they claim to be an intuitive "fly-by-intent" control system. The new Textron/Pipistrel Voyager is making something of a “world debut” at AirVenture 2026. Powered by a Rotax 912, the bird offers 552 pounds of useful load, IFR capability and is even spinnable. The two-seater has a max range of 740NM. A new generation of APPs and associated hardware is presenting exciting new options to pilots with 3D imaging, AI assistance and the ability to simplify increasingly complex environments.
