Mountains, Dunes and Snow in our 4x4 Pajero | 2500km in Morocco

Morocco is one of the most fascinating countries for overlanding: towering mountains, vast desert plains, ancient cities and the endless Atlantic coastline. On this journey, we drive 2000 kilometres across Morocco in our self-converted 4x4 Mitsubishi Pajero, searching for tracks off the beaten path, quiet camp spots and the wild landscapes that make this country so special. Our route takes us from the green North of Morocco, through the snowy passes of the Atlas Mountains, across abandoned mining villages and stony desert plateaus, all the way to the vast dune seas Erg Zaher and Erg Chigaga of the Sahara. Along the way we experience everything from freezing nights at 3000 meters to warm desert winds and endless horizons. We are Camillo and Anouk. Before starting university, we spent three years travelling and living in our car. On this journey, we are driving our Pajero “Dakar” from Germany all the way to Dakar, Senegal. A four month, 18,000 km overland journey through North West Africa. We hope that we can give you some nice insights into our journey!
