Road Trip America: Tony Packo's Hot Dog Bun Hall of Fame

Ask any foodie, what's a road trip without a great meal along the way? When it comes to unique places to stop and grab a bite as you travel, it doesn't get much better than Tony Packo's Cafe in Toledo, OH! There are a few Tony Packo's locations, but the one we're visiting in this travelog is the original location at 1902 Front Street. In addition to having amazing food, this spot is a must-see roadside stop because of its enormous collection of autographed hot dog buns! Yes! That's right! Every inch of Tony Packo's is decorated with buns signed by celebrities and notable public figures - signatures they've been collecting for fifty years! How did it all start? What does Burt Reynolds have to do with it? Why is there so much M*A*S*H memorabilia inside? And what makes the hot dogs themselves so special? Find the answers to all that and more in this episode as we sit down with VP of Tony Packo's, Scott Radel, who tells us more than a few stories about the restaurant's 90 year history.
