I made a custom loading ramp for my Ford Transit van saving hundreds $$$

Cargo loading ramps for commercial vehicles are so expensive. A truly nice aluminum ramp can easily set you back $500 or more. Although they may be lighter and easier to manage making your own out of wood and common materials has its advantages. This ramp is longer than most common ramp sizes. It is easily customizable with basic tools. It is more impact resistant and won't dent or bend out of shape as easily as metal will. The biggest disadvantage is weight limitations. It is cumbersome and tricky to move. Depending on what your load is it can be tricky to stow after loading. I may do a future video of my redesigned ramp but it is something I don't have time for right now. Maybe if this video does well enough it is something I will pursue.
