Vana Lopes - Bem Vindo ao Inferno - no #epicentro15

Vana Lopes was one of the victims of the rapist doctor Roger Abdelmassih. Her quest for justice began in 1993 and went through several setbacks and strange incidents, such as a police report that disappeared from the police station. The fight to locate Abdelmassih, after he won a habeas corpus from the Supreme Federal Court and fled the country, is one of the greatest examples of determination and courage that Brazil has ever seen. While the police couldn't find any leads, Vana masterfully and creatively used social media and the media to become a catalyst for informants and gather documents – including financial transactions and travel records – that led the police to the criminal's capture.
