SFR Podcast #1 | The Farrier’s Perspective
Episode #1! Curious as to why your horse shoer won’t call you back? In this episode we interview one of the up and coming farriers in the Intermountain Western United States, Denton Hulme of DH Farrier Service. Denton talks about why he decided to start shoeing and the passion he has for it and horses. We discuss what to do with challenging horses that don’t want to stand for the farrier, and ways that people can prepare their horses for their farrier and make sure they stick around. Why shoeing is like a roll of toilet paper. I lost some audio in the first 10 minutes but Denton is the most important part of this episode. He gives some great tips and tricks.
