Disneyland California Day 3 ✨☔️ Rainy final day in the parks & first day of the holidays 2025 🎁🎄🥺

And so our journey comes to an end 🥺 It's the final vlog in the LA and Disneyland California series, can you believe it?! We spend a full day park hopping in this vlog, finishing off the final rides on our list, trying lots of treats and snacks, and dodging the rain! We rope drop Disneyland once again, and this time hotfoot it to Indiana Jones Adventure, narrowly avoiding the incoming rain. Omg the ride was SO good! I didn't know what I expected, but it was great 😌 After our first ride, we spot that Haunted Mansion Holiday only had a listed 13 minute wait, so of course we took the opportunity to hop on! Although I'm not particularly a Nightmare Before Christmas fan, the takeover was really impressive! Truly a full-scale takeover! 🎃🎄 Lucky for us, Small World Holiday also had a very short wait time, so we decided to hop on! As the loading was outside we did get a little soggy, but we enjoyed a nice sit down - I also forgot that the California version of Small World includes characters! Was so fun to spot them. Next up on our agenda was the Jolly Holiday Bakery to grab the Rose Macaron that was on Lisa's list. The queue was wild and the mobile ordering time slots... Just insane! Lisa kindly grabbed a Mickey shaped gingerbread cookie for me too which was just SO CUTE!! 🥰 The hot cocoas also did bits, and despite the heavy downpour it was good vibes. We then went on an interesting ride on the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Ngl I did accidentally nod off - but it's quite a long ride! And those dulcet Aussie tones sent me off to sleep haha. 🌊😴 With the rain still coming down, we hopped on the monorail and decided to pop into the Disneyland Hotel for a look around. We saw that the walk up line for Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar was actually very short - something you never see in Disney World/The Polynesian - and we got seated within 10 minutes! I opted for the Tangaroa Cooler and Lisa got the Hippopotomaitai (excellent cocktail names). 🍹🍸 We also sampled the Pupu Platter which was SOOO good - although I definitely needed some vegetables that weren't deep fried asap lol. 🫛 After some time under cover and a few boozy cocktails, we headed back into Disneyland in the hopes of catching the Christmas Fantasy Parade - unfortunately it was Mickey's Holiday Calvacade instead, but with the amount of water lurking on the sidewalks it wasn't that surprising in hindsight, even if it wasn't actively raining at the time. Next up we had my first ever ride on Mr Toad's Wild Ride which was... a very wild ride 🤣 We stuck with the Fantasyland vibe and hopped onto Snow White's Enchanted Wish which was actually really good fun, especially with our own ride vehicle. We left fantasyland behind to park hop to California Adventure to sneak into an Animation Class - it ended up being an advanced class learning to draw Nick Wilde from Zootopia which was a bit chaotic, but really good fun! I just need to work on his ears lol. Our Animator was so great though, we loved her! 🦊 After the class I tried my first ever Pizza Pocket in Avenger's Campus and then head for some more sit down time in Philharmagic. 🍕✨ I then accidentally fell asleep and had a nap back at our hotel room 🤣 Even though it was raining very heavily by this point, we knew that we HAD to go back into the park and see all the Christmas lights - even thought the fireworks and Fantasmic were cancelled, nothing was getting between me and my castle! We went for a stroll to see Small World all lit up in its holiday decorations and lights which was beautiful, and it actually looked so lovely in the rain with all the light reflecting in the puddles. Oh, and of course we take in the pretty lights of the castle 💕 Unsurprisingly the Believe in Holiday Magic Fireworks were cancelled - they did an announcement to say they'd be doing a seasonal snowfall, but in reality that didn't happen (I imagine soap snow and wet pavements don't mix well!) but we did get a very sweet projection show down Main Street USA. We decided to do a final loop of the park to soak it all in and say a proper goodbye to the park - which was very bittersweet 🥲 I hate saying goodbye! But truly, it's never the last castle!
