In the following days, ash rained down on Flores, and flights, including some to Bali, were canceled. But first things first: We started in Moni, a small village in the mountains, which served as our base for seeing the Kelimutu volcano. Another volcano on Flores, known for its three differently colored crater lakes. From there, we head back to the coast to Koka Beach, supposedly the most beautiful beach in all of Flores.
