A Greek House Inspired by Cycladic Squares
La Punta Villa, in Naxos, Greece, is not organized like a typical single-volume villa facing the sea, its main idea comes from the traditional squares of the Cyclades. Instead of concentrating everything in one block, the house is divided into smaller white volumes arranged around a central courtyard. This courtyard becomes the true heart of the villa — a private outdoor square shaped by thick walls, stone, plaster, shadow, terraces, and views of the Aegean landscape. The result is a contemporary Greek villa that feels less like one isolated house and more like a small Cycladic village built around a shared open space. This is a house about the space between buildings. About shade, passage, stone, courtyard life, and the way architecture can turn a villa into a private square.
