Olarooye Osun Worship

A part of "Osogbo Historical Composition" by Okonfo Rao Kawawa, a Yoruba opera telling the founding legend of Osogbo, Nigeria as well as the origin of its Osun festival. Complete video at    • Osogbo Historical Composition   Olarooye is crowned as king by goddess Osun, who assures protection to the city that Olarooye and Timehin will found. They worship her and promise to celebrate the Osun festival every year.
