KAVUNCU: LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS SCAM TOGETHER İYİ Party Group Chairman Buğra Kavuncu drew attention to the lack of oversight regarding visa appointments, stating, "Do you know how much money has come out of our pockets in total, considering service fees, insurance costs, and other application expenses? 27 billion Turkish Lira, or 500 million dollars. This is the cost of the money left by our citizens who applied for visas but did not receive them to these intermediary institutions. When you add those who received visas, we are talking about a figure of 750 million dollars. Now, the Ministry of Trade has launched an investigation. I ask you: Where was your mind? Didn't you ever say, 'Let's check these things, what's going on here?' until today?" Reminding that access to the news report by the journalist who investigated the visa appointment process was blocked, Kavuncu said, "You imposed an access ban on the publications that reported the news.
