A Busy Week on the Farm
We bought 12 round hay bales for our heifers and dry cows because we ran out of our own 1st cut hay. We hired professional hoof trimmers to trim our cows. We also hired a guy with an excavator to clean a ditch / farm run-off for us. We planted some early season and late season potatoes for our family and also for our pigs. We continue with pasture fence fixing. Thanks for watching! Instagram: farmers_pov _________________________________ Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 21,5 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest. #smallfarm #dairyfarm #countryside #farmlife #rurallife #farmvlog
