Final Fantasy VIII (PS1) Playthrough - Disc I (No Commentary)

I will be initially be including random encounters as I run through each area as the story requires. FFVIII gives you a way to remove random encounters entirely after Dollet without cheating and once it becomes available, I use it. The RNG system this game uses is really quite horrible and you will see some shenanigans during the Dollet section. It's easy to manipulate for various means but it was a huge pain to deal with for recording. There are many, many scenes and individual instances where text will auto-advance. Although this may serve as a decent video walkthrough, it has never been my intention to produce such a thing. Gameplay notes The beginning of the game features a number of tutorials. I skip some of them. It's a lot of repeated information.
