How to Use Scraps to Make an Oversized Flying Geese Quilt Block Using Fabric Scraps! Sew with Jo!

Today I'm making some scrappy hourglass quilt blocks. They are big and oversized and lots of fun. I happen to be using scraps from Fig Tree fabrics...most were gifted to me. That has me making "something from nothing" again which are my favorite kinds of quilts. Today I am using a Companion Angle Ruler. https://amzn.to/3ARdcz3 I'm also using an Easy Angle Ruler. https://amzn.to/3NF3RC2 I cut my strips at 2 1/4" for the scrappy portion and then used my companion angle ruler. For the background off-white I used 6" strips and my Easy Angle Ruler. If you want to use your 2 1/2" strips, no problem. Just cut your background strips at 6 1/2". Here is the link to the video that tells how I make my hourglass quilts blocks.    • Jo's Country Junction - Sew with Jo! How t...   My blog: www.joscountryjunction.com Follow on Facebook:   / joscountryju.  .
