Songs of hope for the planet | Harry & Chris | TEDxExeter

If you worry about the future of the planet, let Harry and Chris lighten your mood with their optimistic comedy-rap-jazz take on conservation. A World Poetry Slam champion and an internationally celebrated jazz musician, Harry Baker and Chris Read have sold out three runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with subsequent tours bringing light, love and laughter to a world that needs it more than ever. __ At TEDxExeter 2019 our theme was The Art of the Possible. We’re living in an age of polarity where many communities are feeling more and more divided, against a backdrop of increasingly populist politics which risk dividing us even further. Our talks offer an opportunity to pause and consider the future we want to create, the possibilities that may be obscured in the busyness of our everyday lives, and how we might get there. This year Harry is perfroming with Chris Read. Harry and Chris are childhood friends turned comedy-rap-jazz pioneers. A World Poetry Slam champion and an internationally celebrated jazz musician, the duo have sold out three runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with subsequent tours bringing light, love and laughter to a world that needs it more than ever.
