Yu Yu Hakusho: Smile Bomb (Full OP) - Piano Cover

Wahgwan! Happy 26th Anniversary to Yu Yu Hakusho! Great anime; can't wait for its new OVA to come out later this month. ___________________________________________________________ Chronicle: This is my piano improvisation of the Yu Yu Hakusho anime's full opening theme, Smile Bomb, by Matsuko Mawatari. This piano cover costed me only 2 takes. It's a surprising feat to me because yesterday, making this piano cover was strenuous, and it costed me around 50 takes. The last take of the 50 takes didn't satisfy me, so I took a break and waited the next day to make this piano cover. I made the piano cover in this video back on Monday, October 1st, 2018 so that could prepare myself to upload it on the Yu Yu Hakusho anime's 26th anniversary. ___________________________________________________________ Judgment: I'm fairly happy with the finished product. This video is definitely among my strongest piano improvisations besides my previous cover of Outlaw Star's "Through the Night." I still feel like I could've done more with this cover to make it flavorful. There were some piano mistakes in this cover that I'll forgive, and you can tell I got nervous at the end. I got nervous considering how I was making it through the song without any huge mistakes. The PNG of Kuwabara, Sensui, Kurama, Hiei, and Yusuke using smartphones I chose for the video was a decent touch. I'm proud of this cover. ___________________________________________________________ Purpose: The Yu Yu Hakusho anime is among the reasons I look back on the summer of 2016 fondly. Its original soundtrack is great. I started playing Smile Bomb on piano in 2017, and I was eager to master the entire song on piano. At one point, I stopped practicing that specific song for more than several months, but I later reminded myself of the Yu Yu Hakusho anime's 26th anniversary and an upcoming Yu Yu Hakusho OVA for the occasion. That later inspired me to work on this video, and I thought this was a decent opportunity to seize.
