The Bay of Kotor, located on the south side of the Adriatic Sea, actually consists of 4 small bays, which are all surrounded by mountains of 1000-1700 meter rising directly from the water. The Kotor Bay is bejewelled by seven islands: Mamula, Sveti Marko, Gospa od Škrpjela, Sveti Djordje, Milosrdja, Ostrvo Cvijeca and Mala Gospa. Along the whole coast of Boka, there is a chain of small towns and settlements all of which has their own story. In wintertime the bay is much less crowded and perhaps even more scenic then in the summertime with the early morning fog and the mirrorlike seawater. And fishermen doing their daily activities.
