The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is the most famous dog show in America. It is sometimes called the "Super Bowl" of dog shows. Since mid-January, the education ministry in Senegal has been testing a program that teaches English in more than 600 nursery and primary school classes. (12:55) Next, Bryan Lynn has some advice that owners of smartphones might be interested in. Smartphones have become valuable tools for helping us organize our lives. However, the devices can also make private information available to others. The Associated Press recently offered some tips to help smartphone users limit private data collection. They use Lesson 32 and 33 of Let’s Learn English to talk about the language of baseball. It also gives them a chance to talk about how using the ending -er can turn a verb into a noun: bat/batter; pitch/pitcher. Using examples, they talk about forms that words can take depending on whether they are verbs or nouns.
